Live Theatre: The Shaw Theatre Festival is getting ready to start its' Fifty third season and this one promises to be

Music: Music Niagara performs here for a six week period. Composers from the last 500 years are featured in
various venues: Jazz at the Epicurean, Classical Music in the oldest Anglican (Episcopalian) Church in Canada, and in
several local wineries. Click on the image for the latest information .
Wineries: There are over fifty local Niagara on the Lake Wineries, all offering a unique perspective on the art and craft of
making wine. Let us help you design a tasting day to suit your wine preferences and special needs. We provide wine
tasting vouchers for your sipping pleasures.
Craft Breweries: In the spirit theme you may wish to visit and taste the product
of some of our local brewmakers.
The craft breweries feature seasonal beers as well as the old classics.
Hiking: The Niagara Gorge was created as Niagara Falls retreated to its' present site at the rate of about 1 inch per year.
There is a specific path down into the gorge for all levels of hikers. Once there the view is majestic. The
total climb is about 400 feet and will take in the order of three hours plus the time to enjoy a leisurely picnic down by the waters'
Cycling: Cyclists can bike over fifty miles return on a scenic biking trail along the Niagara
river. The view is extraordinary with several wineries and places to picnic along the route. A good spot for
desert is the Ice Wine House which serves refreshingly delicious ice wine slushies.
Culinary Experience: Our local chefs have created a reputation for exquisite menus with a focus on local produce.
